One Stroke Nail Art is something that has always intrigued me. Out of all the courses I have attended and taught One Stroke is one of the things I have never been as confident with.

So after thinking about it for a long time this month I was a student for a change and attended the one stroke nail art class with an amazing Educator called Ewa Rutkowska-Biniak.

And I absolutely loved it!!

Both her work and teaching is phenomenal as you can see from the images below.

I really enjoyed my time spent with her and feel I learnt a whole new set of skills to both offer to my clients and pass on what I have learnt to my students.

What is One Stroke?

Well the official definition is that ‘one Stroke painting is a popular and interesting decorative painting technique where double and multi-loading is used to achieve highlights, shadows and color changes in one stroke.’

In simpler words, it consists of loading a brush with two separate colours and achieving the shading and highlighting in one stroke. With beautiful and striking results!

I still need lots of practice and I’m hoping my clients will push me and challenge me more by asking me for one stroke flower designs on their statement nails.

I obviously will have to book out 6 hours per nail so notice would be appreciated!!

If you would like One Stroke flower designs at your next appointment just let me know. The options are unlimited and we can create something truly unique.
