Terms & Conditions
Please read through the terms and conditions carefully. Anyone booking for nail services or courses accepts these terms and conditions.
Nail Services
- Please give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your nail appointment so that we can give your appointment to someone who may be on the waiting list. Any cancellations made within less than 24 hours will be charged a cancellation fee of £10 and will be added to your next nail appointment.
- An email confirmation of your appointment is sent out on the time of booking. You will also receive a reminder 24 hours before your appointment. This is to avoid any confusion with appointment dates and times. If you fail to show up to your appointment a 50% charge will be added on to your next booked appointment.
- If you are running late to your appointment, please notify your service provider. If you are running more then 15 minutes late this will result in your appointment being cancelled and rescheduled.
- If in the unlikely event you are not happy with your nail treatment, please contact the service provider within 3 days. If there is a break down due to products or service then this will be rectified free of charge.
- Cost of services must be paid in full after the service is completed.
- As part of the nail service, you will be required to fill in a client consultation form. You must inform the service provider of any future changes to your health conditions.
- All personal information held by Kirsty Parker Nails and Training Academy will not be shared with any third party and is for the sole use of the named business for data and marketing purposes only. Your information is protected and stored in line with GDPR guidelines.
- The service provider reserves the right to deny any service to any client due to a health condition that may pose a risk to the service provider and/or other clients or the risk of contamination in the salon.
Course booking
- To book your courses you are required to pay in full to reserve your place.
- All course fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Course materials are issued following booking. Upon receipt of course information and any pre-course theory, the booking becomes non-refundable.
- All students attending must be 16 years or over.
- All students are responsible for sourcing their own models and must be 16 years or older and not have any medical conditions that may prevent them from receiving any nail treatments.
- Students must take out student insurance to cover your training day and case studies when working on models. Please send a copy of your insurance prior to your training day. For those attending skill building courses and working on a model, you must provide a copy of your professional insurance.
- For courses that require prerequisites a copy of your qualification is required on the time of booking the course. Please email this to the educator, along with a copy of your insurance.
- Prior reading may be required depending on the course, this will be sent to you once the course has been paid for. All students are required to read through this before attending your course date. This prior knowledge is essential for when sitting your theory test paper the the day of your training.
- Case studies must be completed within 8 weeks of your initial course date. Failing to do so will result in your certificate being void or a further assessment day on a 1-1 basis at a cost of £170.
- Case studies must be of your own work and will be rejected if it is believed to not be your own.
- Models and students will be required to sign a disclaimer form.
- In the unlikely event your educator has to cancel your course, you will be offered the next available training date.
- All handouts and manuals provided by Kirsty Parker nails & training academy are protected and must not be reproduced in any form or sold and used only for your personal use.
